Golan Writing Prize
The New England Society of Clinical Hypnosis offers the Golan Writing Prize for students* in the healthcare professions.
Students enrolled in medical, dental, psychology, and other healthcare training programs* in the New England region are invited to submit an original paper on the utilization of hypnosis in the student's field of study.
The Golan Writing Prize is a cash award of up to one-thousand dollars ($1000.00). Authors may be invited to present outstanding papers at the N.E.S.C.H Annual Meeting in June, and may be invited to submit their paper for publication in the American Journal of Clinical Hypnosis.
Submissions may describe original research about the clinical uses of hypnosis, summarize a portion of the literature, integrate published studies, or offer hypotheses or commentary about clinical hypnosis. Case reports are acceptable. The manuscript should not have been previously published elsewhere. Submissions should be in electronic form, preferably PDF. They should be between approximately 1000 and 3000 words, plus references.
