The New England Society of Clinical Hypnosis is a non-profit collegial
society of healthcare professionals. We are dedicated to promoting
optimal health and improving the treatment of illness through the use
of clinical hypnosis. We meet six times during the academic year to
provide continuing professional education in hypnosis and related
topics. Members attend
bi-monthly meetings
to promote excellence in the ethical practice of hypnosis. NESCH is a
regional component section of the
American Society of Clinical Hypnosis, the largest national
interdisciplinary society of licensed professionals who utilize
hypnosis. In 1956 we offered our first Workshop , featuring
Distinguished Lecturer Milton Erickson, MD. Since that event,
thousands of professionals have attended our training workshops.
The 2008 Workshop
will provide professional training in clinical hypnosis at both
Basic and Advanced levels. For further information,

utilizing hypnosis in the practice of medicine, dentistry, psychology,
nursing, social work, and allied health professions. Members may
enroll in monthly
Study Groups and Seminars, which have a fixed
membership and meet over a defined time period (one semester, etc.).
N.E.S.C.H. also provides information about hypnosis and related
topics to the public. Requests for current scientific research and
clinical information can be made to
INFO@nesch.org.
Licensed healthcare professionals with a Masters or Doctoral degree
are invited to
register for the Workshop, regardless of their membership
status in NESCH. Registered Nurses working in certain settings, and
licensed baccalaureate-prepared healthcare professionals ( PT's, OT's,
etc.) may also apply. Prospective members may
download a membership
application. Students in advanced stages of their training
program may attend the Workshop and may become Affiliate Members.
