Seminars & Study Groups The New England Society of Clinical Hypnosis provides professional training resources to promote the highest quality of clinical care in hypnosis. The Annual Workshop brings clinical hypnotists of international prominence to Boston, and the bi-monthly meetings offer unique learning opportunities to the professional community. NESCH offers ongoing monthly Seminars and Study Groups in which members can expand their professional skill set. Hypnotic theory and technique are explored in a collegial atmosphere where participants can present their own work, as well as learn from the experiences of colleagues and instructors. Non-members of NESCH wishing to join a Seminar should inquire about membership in the Society. I. Medical Hypnosis Study Group: This Study Group meets monthly on Wednesday from 6:00pm--8:00pm with a focus on strengthening skills in hypnotic induction, learning application techniques in various areas of healthcare, and treatment planning. . 2008 Dates: Eligibility: Open to Active NESCH Members. Hypnosis in Psychotherapy Study Group: This Study Group meets monthly on Wednesday from 6:00pm--8:00pm with a focus on strengthening skills in hypnotic technique and learning how to integrate hypnotic approaches into psychotherapy ( including child, adult, couples', and family therapy.) in Psychotherapy: This case-focused monthly Seminar is offered to
experienced psychotherapists who are interested in enhancing their use of
hypnosis in treatment. Participants
share clinical material from their own practices in a collegial atmosphere. The Seminar meets
