NESCH offers professional hypnosis training workshops, continuing education programs, and networking opportunities designed to enhance both professional and personal development. By joining NESCH, you become part of a community of healthcare professionals dedicated to using and promoting clinical hypnosis as an ethical, evidence-based clinical tool.

Why Join NESCH?

Who Can Join?
NESCH welcomes licensed healthcare professionals and graduate-level trainees who have completed an ASCH-approved Level I Training (or equivalent introductory training in clinical hypnosis).
Eligible disciplines include medicine, dentistry, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing, occupational and physical therapy, and related health professions that meet NESCH and ASCH membership standards.
Membership Levels & Dues
Annual dues are based on professional status. All levels receive the core NESCH membership benefits.

Regular Member — $150
Licensed healthcare professionals in independent practice who have completed ASCH-approved Level I Training and have experience in clinical or experimental hypnosis. -
Associate Member — $75
Healthcare professionals with a master’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing or an allied health profession who use hypnosis under the supervision of a licensed professional, or other credentialed professionals who meet NESCH criteria. -
Student Member — $75
Graduate-level students who have completed at least one graduate semester in a program that leads to independent clinical practice and have completed Level I or equivalent introductory hypnosis training (or are in the process of completing it, as specified in the application). -
Retiree Member — $75
Retired professionals who have been NESCH members for at least five years and have retired from active practice.
Membership dues are payable online through our secure AffiniPay system or by check, as indicated in the application process.
How to Apply
You can submit your membership application online using the NESCH Membership Application form below.
- Select the membership level that best fits your current professional status.
- Complete all required fields in the application form.
- Upload or send any requested documentation (e.g., license, proof of training) as indicated.
- Submit payment of dues via the secure online payment system.
If you prefer to submit a paper application, you may download the PDF form or contact Member Services for details.
Paper Application Option
To apply by mail, complete the NESCH membership application form (PDF) and send it with required documentation to the address listed on the form.
- Copy of your professional license or proof of student status (if applicable).
- Proof of completion of Level I or equivalent introductory hypnosis course.
- Any supporting materials requested on the form.
